(Need thinking) Comparative Study of Blockchain Platforms

This study has three goals:

  • Identify major blockchain platforms and compare their features, particularly their support for smart contracts, consensus protocols, and privacy
  • Develop automation scripts in Ansible to deploy all of the studied blockchain platforms on hardware nodes. These scripts should be integrated into NVAL
  • Benchmark these platforms under different configurations of hardware to establish empirical evidence of their performance.

The chosen hardware configuration should fit the test bed being developed by DST and EEE.
